Lavish in the Lake Views here! The pictures can only transport you so far... so just stay here and experience it. 5 STAR all the way around! The house was appointed with more thought and detail than any I have stayed at and I am a seasoned traveler. No room envy if traveling with adults is also huge since they are all beautiful. The bar, shuffle board, foos ball, arcade, and projector screen were great fun but unmatched was the infinity hot tub at sunset and under the stars. The Host was spot on and quick to respond to questions (we didn’t have many) and the app for lighting, heaters, music & locks allowed us to locate things easily. The kitchen and grill deck were fantastically stocked. No running down to market for your everyday staple was a nice treat. We hiked Hemlock Falls, rented a ski boat from the Boat Shop at Lake Burton and the boys tubed, wakeboarded, and water surfed. Lunched in Helen and rode the mountain coaster and are shopping in Clayton and at La Prade’s Marina. Wanted to stay for the month but had to go back to work (alas!) Don’t miss this house if you get the chance to stay.....
We absolutely loved our stay ! You can truly feel that this home was created with love. Every single detail has been thoughtfully considered. The house was spotless, beautifully designed, and the view was simply spectacular. The hosts were incredibly kind and always responded quickly, making everything so easy from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for sharing such a special place with us !
The Lux Skyhaus rises above and beyond expectations in every way, and that includes the breathtaking views from this home's rooms and decks. This house is designed in a way that flows effortlessly from room to room. If you have a larger group, no one will get the short straw when it comes to bedroom suites -- each one is a winner. Lee made everything easy from start to finish, and includes some extras that sets this one apart from the rest. Highest recommendation.
A truly amazing home with phenomenal views of Lake Burton and the surrounding mountains! The home itself is the most spectacular home I have had the pleasure of staying in! I can’t recommend it enough!
Absolutely breathtaking home!! The view is unreal? High quality throughout the home. The host, Lee, was super responsive and went above and beyond to make our 19th anniversary trip so special!

Please bag trash and place in the bear-proof garbage cans outside. Quiet hours for the outdoor porches and hot tub are 9PM - 8AM. Guests are required to keep noise to a minimum during these hours. Due to the location of the home and potential freezing weather on top of the mountain during the winter months, it is possible we might need to close the heated pool during certain dates in Jan and Feb. Additionally, while unlikely, if there are freezing temperatures, the heated pool may not reach the desired temp.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Late check-in is allowed, but early check-in is not offered.
Is parking available at the property?
Yes, there is parking available for up to 6 vehicles, and an EV charger is provided.
Is Wi-Fi available during my stay?
Yes, Wi-Fi is provided, along with a dedicated workspace for your convenience.
Are pets allowed at The SkyHaüs?
Yes, pets are welcome at The SkyHaüs. A one-time pet fee of $150 applies.
Can I host a party or event at the property?
No, parties or events are not allowed at The SkyHaüs. We ask guests to respect the house rules.
What amenities are included in the kitchen?
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and all necessary cookware and utensils.
What should I know about the pool?
The infinity heated pool is available, but it may be closed during certain dates in January and February due to freezing weather.
Is the property suitable for children?
The SkyHaüs is not suitable for children or infants due to unsecured pool/hot tub, unprotected heights, and other safety considerations.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can receive a 100% refund if you cancel 30 days or more before check-in. Cancellations made 0–7 days before check-in are non-refundable.
How can I get around the area?
The property is located in a private and quiet lake community. You can use your vehicle or opt for private transportation options provided for guests.
